Pelusa Orellana García is Professor of Reading at the School of Education, Universidad de los Andes, Chile. She teaches reading methods courses in teacher education programs and is the director of CIIL Uandes, the Center for Research and Innovation in Reading. Her research is focused on reading assessment, reading motivation, and reading instruction.
