Rebecca B. Vargha, MSLS, FSLA, has nearly 45 years of experience as a librarian, teacher, and manager in diverse library and information settings. She is head and part-time faculty member at the Information and Library Science Library at the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, USA. She is a past president and a fellow of the Special Libraries Association. Prior to her current library position, Vargha worked in an academic think tank, a telecommunications company, and a software company. She thrives on helping educate and mentor the next generation of information professionals.
