Biography
Ronald Turnbull is an experienced author, photographer and editor, who has written over 30 walking guidebooks and outdoor books. Based in south-west Scotland, he's most often to be found in the Highlands or the Lake District. He has nine times won Outdoor Writers & Photographers Guild Awards for Excellence for his books and magazine articles. He is a regular contributor to Lakeland Walker and also writes in Trail, The Great Outdoors and the UKhillwalking.com website.
