Biography
Santiago Slabodsky holds the Florence and Robert Kaufman endowed chair in Jewish studies and is professor of religion at Hofstra University–New York, USA. He is author of Decolonial Judaism: Triumphal Failures of Barbaric Thinking that received the Frantz Fanon Outstanding Book Award by the Caribbean Philosophical Association. He is also coeditor of Living Traditions and University Conviviality and The New Diaspora and the Global Prophetic and is founding co-director of the journal Decolonial Horizons in Latin America, associate editor for the journal ReOrient: Critical Muslim Studies and co-editor of the series Transmodern Times.
