Description
The global economy since world-war II has passed through many phases. It witnessed a great industrial revolution in the early 1950s along with dividing the whole world into two models of growth, i.e. a free market model and state controlled and regulated market model led by USA and former USSR, respectively. The dynamics of free market economy due to its inherent entrepreneurial spirit backed by strong R&D and risk taking culture prevailed on the state controlled model, and eventually it led to the breaking of Berlin wall, removal of apartheid system in South Africa and disintegration of USSR in the early nineties. These seminal events triggered the phenomena of globalization and liberalization, and by the end of nineties practically the whole world embraced this approach.
