The need for sustainable development has become imperative with the adoption of 'Sustainable Development Goals' by UN which has replaced the MDGs. They focus upon poverty eradication, energy, water and sanitation, health and human settlement. Sustainable development has found its way not only in school curricula but also in ways by which corporates are run. Given this, a lot of researches have taken place in adoption of sustainable development as a policy initiative in recent times both nationally as well as internationally.
