This series redefines the landscape of Italian philosophy. Building on Italian thought’s long-standing influences from other European traditions, this transnational series puts Italian thought into dialogue with not just continental philosophies, but world philosophies, too. It fosters forward-looking, philosophically open debates, and prioritizes themes relating to coloniality/decoloniality, race, economy, gender, and sexuality. The series publishes both primary texts in translation, as well as bold and boundary-breaking new research on the long and unfolding tradition of Italian philosophy. The series is currently open to submissions from a range of backgrounds and perspectives.
