Alexander Schaefer is an assistant professor of philosophy and a core faculty member of the PPE program at the University at Buffalo. He received a PhD from the University of Arizona in philosophy in 2021, and was a research fellow at New York University's Classical Liberal Institute until 2023. His research focuses on institutional evolution and moral change.
