Amanda Nettelbeck

Biography

Amanda Nettelbeck is Professor of History at the University of Adelaide, Australia. She is the author and editor of multiple books, including Indigenous Rights and Colonial Subjecthood: Protection and Reform in the British Empire (2019) and, co-edited with Philip Dwyer, Violence, Colonialism and Empire in the Modern World (2018). Her forthcoming book is Unsettled Subjects: Race, Mobility and Colonial Citizenship in the Australian Settler Colonies (2025).
