Anja Louis is Reader in Cultural and Intercultural Studies and REF coordinator at Sheffield Hallam University, UK.. She has published widely in the fields of gender studies and popular culture. She is author of Women and the Law: Carmen de Burgos (2005) and co-editor of Multiple Modernities: Carmen de Burgos, Author and Activist (2017).
