Benjamin A. Lawson holds a PhD in history from the University of Iowa. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, USA, where he has a teaching and research focus on urban-environmental history, the history of science and technology, and teacher licensure. His publications include A Cultural History of Waste Disposal: Environmental Policy and Park Redevelopments (2025).
