Biography

Christopher Leahy was a professional conservationist for 45 years. For 16 years of these he was the Director of Mass Audubon’s Center for Biological Conservation, going on to hold the Gerard A. Bertrand Chair of Natural History and Field Ornithology until his retirement in 2017. He remains an emeritus professor at the institution. Chris is also an experienced tour leader who has travelled the world in search of birds and insects.
