David Pocta

David Pocta (PhD Spirituality) is a spiritual theologian, educator, and leadership practitioner whose work integrates Scripture, formation, and missional leadership. He serves on the faculty of Oblate School of Theology and leads initiatives through the CHORD Leadership Center, equipping leaders for deep spiritual identity and transformative presence. David is host of Thread: A Podcast About Scripture and Spirituality, where he explores the biblical narrative through a lens of spirituality. His writing and teaching focus on pilgrimage, discernment, and the integration of being, knowing, and doing. He is passionate about cultivating reflective leaders who embody wisdom, humility, and faithful participation in God’s renewing work.
