Heidi Tworek is Canada Research Chair and Professor of History and Public Policy at the University of British Columbia, Canada. She is a specialist in German history, international affairs, and public policy. She is author of News from Germany: The Competition to Control World Communications, 1900-1945 (2019) and co-editor of International Organizations and the Media in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries: Exorbitant Expectations (2018), The Routledge Companion to the Makers of Global Business (2020), and The Routledge Companion to the Interwar World (2023). She is also the co-editor of Journal of Global History.
