Helga Lenart-Cheng is Professor at Saint Mary's College of California, USA. Her research focuses on critical media theory, life writing, theories of subjectivity and memory, phenomenological hermeneutics, and world literature. She publishes widely on emerging forms of storytelling and their social, political, and ethical context. Her most recent book, Story Revolutions: Collective Narratives from the Enlightenment to the Digital Age (2022), studies the role of narratives in communities.
