Jerome C. Regier was a research biologist and teacher from 1981 to 2013, largely at the University of Maryland, USA. Having maintained an academic interest in religious studies throughout this career, upon retirement in 2013 he returned to Harvard, where he had been postdoctoral fellow, and became a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Divinity School, USA.
