Josephine von Zitzewitz is a poetry specialist and translator who has held positions at the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol (UK) and Tromsø. She is the author of two academic monographs (2016, 2020) and numerous articles on late 20th-century and contemporary Russian poetry. She is a contributor to Dislocation, a bilingual anthology of Russophone anti-war poetry.
