Jussi Ojajärvi

Biography

Jussi Ojajärvi is a Senior Lecturer in Literature at the University of Oulu, Finland, and an Adjunct Professor of Finnish Literature at the University of Turku, and the PI of the project “Tove Jansson’s Productions”, funded by the Kone Foundation. Since 1999, he has worked as a researcher and teacher at several universities in Finland and as a visiting scholar at Duke University in North Carolina (2011, briefly in 2014–15). The topics of his publications range from classics of Finnish literature to contemporary literature and culture, from realism to metamodernism, and from questions of identity to analytics of power. He has acted as the main or co-editor of eight collections of articles, including three literary histories.
