Clevis R. Headley is associate professor of philosophy at Florida Atlantic University where he specializes in Africana philosophy, critical race theory, epistemology, the philosophy of language, and philosophy of mathematics. Headley has co-edited two books, Shifting the Geography of Reason (2007) and Haiti and the Americas (2013) and is currently finishing a book manuscript titled Race, Philosophy, and Being: Working Through the Contestability of Race and Philosophy.
