Nandini Chatterjee is Professor of Indian History and Culture at the University of Oxford, UK. She is the author of Negotiating Mughal Law: a Family of Landlords Across Three Indian Empires (2020) and The Making of Indian Secularism: Empire, Law and Christianity, 1830-1960 (2011).
