Robert C. Drewes is emeritus Curator of Herpetology at California Academy of Sciences, based in San Francisco, USA. Bob has enjoyed a lifelong fascination with African wildlife, and has conducted field research in 30 different African countries since 1969. With a particular interest in the comparative physiology of frogs, Bob serves on the board of the Kenya Wildlife Service.
