Tom Pace is Associate Professor of English at John Carroll University, USA, where he directs the first-year writing program, written in the core curriculum, and the professional writing major. He teaches classes on writing, literature, and the Beatles. His research areas include style, the history of writing instruction, Generation X, and the Beatles. His work has appeared in Composition Studies, The Journal of American Culture, and The Journal of Beatles Studies. He has also published on the rhetoric of Generation X in Mad Men, Girls, and in the romantic comedies of Judd Apatow and has presented research on the Beatles at the national Popular Culture Association Conference. He is also the co-editor of the Bloomsbury series, Generation X: Studies in Culture, Demographics, and Media Representation.
