Wladimir Sgibnev is a Senior Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography. He has been co-editor of collections on post-socialist urban infrastructures (Routledge) and on polarisation and peripheralisation processes in Central and Eastern Europe (Palgrave), and author of book chapters and articles including Antipode, Transport Geography, or the Journal of Transport History.
