Father Yann Vagneux is a French Catholic priest of the Paris Foreign Missions (MEP). He lives in Benares, the sacred city of India where he works in the field of Interreligious dialogue, particularly between the Catholic Church and Hinduism. Doctor in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University and Indologist, he is the author of A Priest in Banaras (2020) and Indian Portraits: Eight Christian Encounters with Hinduism (2021).
