Yasue Kuwahara is Professor of Media & Communication and Director of Popular Culture Studies at Northern Kentucky University, USA. She is the author of Diversity and Inclusion in Japanese Television Drama (Bloomsbury, 2026) and The Korean Wave: Korean Popular Culture in a Global Context (2014).
