19 major T20 county competitions have been held.
The titles have been won as follows: Leicestershire 3, Hampshire, Kent, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire 2, Essex, Lancashire, Middlesex, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex, Warwickshire and Worcestershire 1. Derbyshire, Durham, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire and Yorkshire have never won. No team has successfully defended its title.
Somerset have reached the final most times (five) and lost it the most times (four), including three years in succession (2009, 2010 and 2011). Derbyshire and Glamorgan have not yet reached the final.
Counties have reached the semi-finals (and thus Finals’ Day) as follows: Hampshire (including six years in succession from 2010–2015) and Lancashire 8, Somerset and Surrey 7, Nottinghamshire 6, Essex, Leicestershire and Sussex 5, Kent, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire 4, Gloucestershire 3, Durham, Glamorgan, Worcestershire and Yorkshire 2, Derbyshire and Middlesex 1.
