Description
Peter, Janice and April work for Mrs Steinberg in The Red Flag charity shop in Newcastle, raising money for socialist causes. The old order is, however, threatened by the arrival of Matty, who seduces Peter and then radically transforms the shop into The New Red Flag. The staff are won round but principles go out of the window.
Mrs Steinberg was produced at The Bush Theatre in June 2000 and was a Time Out Critics Choice.
