Alison Murray is a Glasgow based author and illustrator. She studied Textile Design at Glasgow School of Art, and Design for Interactive Media at Middlesex University, London.
Her first book Apple Pie ABC was shortlisted for the Scottish Childrens Book Award and in the US won the 2012 Charlotte Zolotow Honor Book award for outstanding writing in a picture book. Her books have appeared on the shortlists and longlists for the Bookbug Picture Book Prize, the Scottish Children's Book Awards and the UK Literary Association Award. Alison has several books published internationally.
