Ayah Abubasheer is an Associate Lecturer at Western Sydney University, holds a PhD and an MSc from LSE, which she pursued as a Victor Phillip Dahdaleh Foundation Award recipient. She has extensive UN and NGO experience. Her research spans the Sociology of Islam, Middle Eastern Politics, Gender, and Social Justice.
