Biography
Benjamin Fleury-Steiner is associate professor of sociology and criminal justice at the University of Delaware. He is coeditor of The New Civil Rights Research, a Choice Outstanding Academic Title. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm and was an enlisted Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army from 1990-1993. He is also the author of Disposable Heroes: The Betrayal of African American Veterans (R&L, 2012)
