Biography
David Bakewell has a particular interest in bird identification, migration and shorebirds. He has authored publications on biodiversity management in agricultural landscapes, shorebird study and many papers on bird identification and conservation. He supports conservation through involvement with the Oriental Bird Club, the Malaysian Nature Society, the Wild Bird Club of Malaysia and the Shorebirds Peninsular Malaysia Project.
