Didarul Islam Manik is a communication faculty member at Central New Mexico Community College and an adjunct faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University’s global campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of New Mexico. His research examines media representation, power, ideology, and social protest. He has published widely, presented at conferences, and contributed commentary on media, politics, and culture. Before academia, he worked as a journalist in Bangladesh.
