Jenny Bossaller is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Science & Learning Technologies (SISLT) at the University of Missouri – Columbia (MU). Her teaching and research focus on public libraries and health in libraries, library and information history, and information policy. She created a class on public library partnerships as part of an IMLS grant, the MU-SISLT Public Library Leadership Fellows (PuLL) Program (2014 - 2017). She has worked with public librarians to enhance gardening and related health programs. She is co-author of the 3rd and 4th editions of Introduction to Public Librarianship and over sixty other publications. She has presented at many state, national, and international conferences. Prior to earning her PhD, she worked in academic and public libraries and at the MOBIUS Consortium Office.
