John M. Hunt is an independent scholar based in Boston, MA. He taught the history of the Renaissance and early modern Europe for over two decades at universities in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, and Utah. He is the author of The Vacant See in Early Modern Rome: A Social History of the Papal Interregnum (2016) and coeditor of Making Stories in Early Modern Italy and Beyond (2024).
