Jonathan Boyarin is the Diann G. and Thomas A. Mann Professor of Modern Jewish Studies at Cornell University, USA. He is the author of Yeshiva Days: Learning on the Lower East Side (2020), Jewish Families (2013) and Mornings at the Stanton Street Shul: A Lower East Side Summer (2011).
