Justus Nieland

Justus Nieland is Professor of English and Film Studies and Chairperson of the Department of English at Michigan State University, USA. His most recent book, Happiness by Design: Modernism and Media in the Eames Era (2020) was was shortlisted for the 2021 Modernist Studies Association Book Prize. He is also author of David Lynch (2012) and co-author (with Jen Fay) of Film Noir; Hard-Boiled Modernity and the Cultures of Globalization (2009).
