Biography
Kathy Lette is an internationally best selling author who first achieved a succès de scandale as a teenager with the novel Puberty Blues, which was made into a major film and a TV mini-series. She has written twenty-one books which have been translated into nineteen languages and was recently honoured with a G100 Exceptional Women of Excellence Award for her 'outstanding work as an author and advocate of women's rights.'
Kathy has two children and divides her time between Sydney and London. Although an autodidact (a word she says she clearly taught herself), Kathy has three honorary doctorates. Four of her novels are currently in film and TV production. She is a TV presenter, travel writer, newspaper and magazine satirical columnist, feminist campaigner and an ambassador for Their World, the National Autistic Society and Ambitious About Autism. Kathy most recently toured internationally with her one-woman show, "Girls Night Out", and is pleased to report that she didn't fall out with the cast.
