Biography

Pamela Balls Organista, Ph.D. is an African American psychologist who is Professor of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of San Francisco. Her research interests are in the areas of prevention interventions and ethnic minority health including migrant laborers and HIV prevention, and stress and coping in primary care patients. She currently serves as the faculty director of the African American Studies program at USF.
