Paulette Steeves is the Canada Research Chair in Healing and Reconciliation at Algoma University. She is a Cree-Metis Indigenous archaeologist, is the only Indigenous archaeologist whose research is focused on the Indigenous Paleolithic of the Western Hemisphere, the Americas.
