Robert J. Daly, S.J., Emeritus Professor of Theology at Boston College, is the author of Christian Sacrificeand The Origins of the Christian Doctrine of Sacrifice. His recent articles, mostly in Theological Studies, have focused on Eucharist, sacrifice, and atonement.
