Stephen Field is a specialist in pre-Qin Chinese literature and an authority on early Chinese cosmology as it pertains to the ancient art of fengshui. He is the author of The Duke of Zhou Changes: A Study and Annotated Translation of the Zhou Yi (Wiesbaden, FRG: Harrassowitz Verlag, 2015); Ancient Chinese Divination (University of Hawaii Press, 2009); and Tian Wen: A Chinese Book of Origins (New York: New Directions, 1986).
