Stephen Lacey is professor emeritus of drama, film and television at the University of South Wales, UK, and the author of several books on UK television drama. He is an associate editor of "Critical Studies and Television". He is the author of Tony Garnett (2007) and the co-editor of Popular Television Drama: Critical Perspectives (2005) and of British Television Drama: Past, Present and Future (2000).
