Biography

Youssef Chahed served as Tunisia’s youngest Prime Minister (2016-2020), leading the country through a complex period of democratic transition, economic crisis and counterterrorism efforts. Currently he is Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School, US where he leads research on democratization and governance in the Middle East. He has a PhD from the National Institute of Agriculture in Paris, France.
