Dating from fifth-sixth century Palestine, but containing much older material, Pesiqta Rabbati is a major collection of rabbinic homilies based upon biblical passages from the Torah for Jewish holy days and special Sabbaths. Volume three contains the index, chapter 53 of the Pesiqta Rabbati, supplemental manuscript material, and corrigenda.
