Miguel A. De La Torre (Series Editor), Edwin David Aponte (Series Editor)
This series reimagines and advances Latine studies by publishing works that are innovative, cutting-edge, and disrupt dominant, normative narratives. As an interdisciplinary series on Latine religion, culture, and identity, these works explore the intersectional dimensions of the Latine experience – such as religion, class, gender, ideology, and race – by engaging with lived identities, beliefs, and practices. Research will promote intersectional analysis as a critical tool, with work rooted in the Latine lived experience across the religious, theological, and spiritual landscape. Books in this series will move beyond the Christian experience, creating space for other faith traditions, which include Judaism, Islam, Santería/Lukumí, Espiritismo, Curanderismo, and non-theistic experiences.
