New Writing in Critical Development Studies brings together new critical and alternative development research by established and early career researchers from around the world. Foregrounding postdevelopment, decoloniality, economic alternatives, feminism, antiracism, pluriversality, and related concepts and approaches, the series provides a vehicle for emerging trends in critical development scholarship. The series is distinctive for its dedication to publishing new writers, particularly those based in the Global South, alongside more canonical voices. It is also uniquely open to alternative forms of knowledge production, including photographs, drawings, figures, and other artwork.
