Media in Social Conflict

This Series publishes in-depth case studies on current global conflicts applying the ICER model (Identity, Community, Escalation, and Restoration) developed by Jones and Cai in their book, The Power of Media in Social Conflict (see accompanying EBM proposal). All authors of these first titles in the Series are Temple University faculty. Temple is in the process of building a definitive program in conflict resolution that brings together a variety of disciplines and can be exported to other universities. These casebooks are designed to aid that effort in conflict resolution and media program building and in providing evidence based application of theory for this maturing field.
