Biography

Sherry R. Crow is Professor Emeritus at University of Nebraska - Kearney, USA. She earned her PhD in Library and Information Management from Emporia State University. A former public children’s librarian, elementary school librarian, and professor of school library science, she was a featured researcher in New Frontiers Magazine (2014). In 2023 she received the 2023 L. Anne Clyde Memorial Research Award for the best paper presented at an IASL conference making a research contribution to the field of school librarianship. Her research interest is in children’s intrinsic motivation for information seeking and reading for pleasure.
